The Royal Myconian Resort & Villas at Elia Beach is located in the south of Mykonos. End of july is the ideal time to discover the Greek island. The hotel’s attractive design and its attentive stuff make it easy to feel comfortable here.
Relaxing greek-style with beautiful design
When we arrived at the airport in Mykonos a black Porsche Cayenne is ready to take us to the exceptionally beautiful lobby of our hotel. The female employees of Royal Myconian Resort & Villas stroll around the spacious rooms with elegant white or black floor-length cotton dresses. High-class décor and wooden sculptures interrupt the white rooms. The welcome-drink is refreshing and we feel comfortable right from the word go. This comfortableness doesn’t change for the entire two weeks that we spent in the Royal Myconian. Barkeeper, reception stuff and service stuff are courteous and attentive but have at the same time the typical Greek relaxed and cordial manner – ideal conditions to unwind. I recommend visiting Mykonos off the high season.

Rich breakfast with a great view to the Aegean Sea
Hotel tip Mykonos – five star feel good experience
The Royal Myconian Resort & Villas might not be the most exclusive of the Myconian premium hotel collection – under which definitely count the Ambassador, Korali and especially the Utopia Resort – however, within the two weeks that we spent in here the Royal convinced us entirely. The aesthetic lobby, the terrace as well as the bar invite for lingering and for enjoying one or two refreshments. The pool area is chic but nothing special – the nearby restaurant highly recommendable though. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. We breakfast extensively overlooking the Aegean Sea. Downstairs welcomes the hotel’s private beach with crystal-clear water, cosy beach chairs and corresponding service.

Spa Area
If you consider staying for longer in the Royal half board is a recommendable option as Mykonos offers a large choice of premium restaurants. You should definitely not miss out on the exquisite restaurant of hotel Utopia, which is situated slightly above the Royal reachable within walking distance by a small pathway. Upstairs awaits a terrace with gorgeous view over the Aegean Sea, stylish design and excellent cuisine. If you are in a rush you can use he hotel’s helipad.
